Every year mobile companies release new smartphones that leave us
excited. The new models they bring to the market comes packed with upgraded or
brand-new features and apps. However, the more upgraded the phone becomes, the
more it drains the phone battery. This means a rapid increase in battery power
usage.
But you probably know how to avoid situations that involve a dying phone
battery. That’s right! Power banks. If you didn’t know already, power banks are
storage devices with powerful batteries. Depending upon the brand or
manufacturer selling them, a power bank may contain from 1 to 8 battery cells.
And it is likewise with the power capacity range.
How do power banks work?
Be an average power bank or the best power bank, a 20000 mAh power bank or a 15000 mAh power bank; they aren’t automatic. It
means they do not get auto-charged. You have to charge it manually.
· To run a power bank, you must first connect the larger end of the USB
cord to an adapter. Following this, you connect the smaller end of the USB cord
to the power bank. Then take the adapter and plug it to an outlet. The same
thing can be done on a laptop or computers.
· Once this step is covered, you want to check if the LED lights are on.
If the LED lights are on, this means your power bank is now beginning to
charge.
· Usually, power banks require at least one to two hours of charging.
But of course, this again depends on the brand. So, do not forget to read the
charging time instruction in the manual.
· Power banks come with four to five LED indicators to determine the
power percentage.
· Upon seeing the entire LED light up, switch off the power adapter,
then unplug the smaller end of the USB cord from the power bank. And done, just
like that it’s ‘go time’!
Keep in the mind that wall adaptors charge the power bank quicker than a
computer or a USB drive of a laptop does. So, if you’re in a hurry and would
prefer a quick recharge, you know where to plug it.
